We have all read about it in history books and it’s a rare to be part of that history, but we have just been part of something amazing with the recent earthquakes in New Zealand.
A video from GeoNet shows an area known as the Papatea fault, where an earthquake with magnitudes of 7.8 iterally lifted the sea bed on the coast of the south island. Here you can watch how the seabed has risen by over 1.5 meters!
A must watch for anyone who loves this country.
