An honest version of New Zealand

We’ve all heard it before: “New Zealand is the perfect country,” “Nothing ever goes wrong in NZ,” “Do you guys have TV?” or  “I can’t wait to see middle earth”… It’s enough to make a real kiwi shudder. We created this post from a true kiwi’s view of New Zealand.

You can add just below “A Massive Lake” moving south west in order “Skiing for Paupers”, “Scary Winding Road” and “Lot Of Cool Old Buildings and Bike Helmets”

To be fair most Dunedin students are not drunk! What about really big seagulls (albatross)😆

Come on, we’ve all been held up while driving through town by the slow moving herds of drunk students crossing the road

It was probably a graduation procession. The traffic has to stop for them about ten times a year.

I was there last december for a vacation. I travelled the whole country. I had a great time with very kind and helpfull people. The nature is pure and peacefull. Come to western Europe and you’ll see your country in a very different way! You don’t complain anymore!

Agreed! I have been to 25 other countries and NZ is definitely still my favourite <3 I'm a true & patriotic Kiwi, with my family going back as far as the first pioneers to settle here and I'm so pleased they did! I have many friends from other countries that chose to move here & they're not going to live in any other country again <3
